This is my front cover I have designed. The main image has eye contact with the audience to draw and lure them into wanting to read on. This is to try and have a bond / connection with my audience (Mode Of Address). My writing I have used is very bold and very noticeable to the public eye. The contrast of colours work well with each other as too much of one colour would make the cover look boring. But, by putting orange, red and white together it makes the images and text stand out more. My only trouble with this though is the darkness of the picture. I am wondering whether to brighten it up a bit, to make my person more noticeable and not give the reader such a dark and dull image. And I am still wondering about the space between the smaller cover line and the price and issue date. I still have to think of what to put there.Tuesday, 24 February 2009
